The Doctoral Symposium is a great opportunity for PhD students and their advisors to informally present their work, debate, and share new ideas, methods, and applications, bringing together the scientific community and giving them the opportunity to learn new insights, ranging from research topics to diversity challenges in technology and innovation.
The Doctoral Symposium is an excellent opportunity for PhD students to present and discuss their work in a workshop format. The Doctoral Symposium is open to PhD students whose research area includes the themes proposed for this conference: control systems and computer science.
There are two types of contributions that can be presented within the Doctoral Symposium:
- Short abstract that will be presented as a poster in the Poster Session
- Short paper announcing new ideas with in-progress validation (oral presentation)
PhD students who have achieved relevant and consistent validated results are encouraged to submit a Regular paper to be disseminated within the main conference. Student discounts are available for this purpose.
